The d&b 24C is a passively separated 2-way column loudspeaker that impresses with its cardioid directivity. Six 4" low-frequency drivers with neodymium magnets and an array of six 1.1" dome tweeters provide controlled sound reinforcement. The cardioid principle significantly reduces reflections and enables higher levels close to the feedback threshold – ideal for applications with open microphones. Rear attenuation is approximately 18 dB (broadband), with directivity extending down to 370 Hz. The high-frequency array is continuously adjustable from 0° to –14° to precisely cover listening areas. With a maximum sound pressure of 126 dB and a power handling of 125 W RMS, the 24C is suitable for churches, conference halls, auditoriums and event spaces. The extruded aluminium housing is robust and available in black. 8 units are now available in our rental inventory in Switzerland.
• Cardioid directivity with 18 dB rear attenuation minimises disruptive reflections and increases speech intelligibility – for crystal-clear communication even in acoustically challenging spaces.
• Adjustable high-frequency array (0° to –14°) enables precise alignment to the listening area – you reach your audience precisely without unnecessarily exciting walls or ceilings.
• Cardioid design down to 370 Hz allows higher levels before feedback – ideal for live events with open microphones, where every decibel counts.
